Modern Fabric Pendant Light Medium Phantasma from Studio Mirei to Costantini

Providing perfect light in a unique form, this pendant lamp will complement a modern interior, providing a subtle glow and captivating ambiance. The name Phantasma comes from its ethereal shape reminiscent of souls departing from the earth and rising to the heavens, entirely handcrafted of Banaca (banana-abaca), a fiber from the Philippines woven by a community of weavers in the province of Bicol, which is then manipulated and sculpted until it reveals its unique texture.

About Mirei Monticelli:

Mirei is a Milan-based multidisciplinary designer who started her career in her birthplace, the Philippines. Working from her roots has exposed her to the world of traditional manufacturing and production of furniture, where everything is made by hand. This environment exposed her to the beautiful world of artisan crafts, but then gave her the yearning to explore state-of-the-art techniques that come from the western world. Graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 2017 with a degree in Design and Engineering has given her more experience in the technical point of view. Her work spans product design, interior design, creative consultancy and art direction.
