This elegantly geometric Art Deco Frosted Glass Pendant Chandelier W/Brass Fittings Signed Degué originates from France, Circa 1930. Features a molded and frosted glass shade with an array of geometrically rendered natural motifs and detailing, with certain areas polished to reveal the transparency of the glass. Leaves are depicted in abstract triangular shapes dashing inwards and expanding in various sections around the outer edge of the chandelier, with rounded floral moments reminiscent of fruit of flower buds emerging from the bottom of the fixture, intersected with additional geometric cubist formed leaves. Hangs from a polished brass chain and a bell shaped canopy, with three subtle brass ball fittings on the outside edge of the shade equidistantly spaced. A gorgeous Chandelier signed Degué, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards with a height that can be adjusted to suit, this piece is in Excellent Vintage Condition. Accommodates Three Candelabra based bulbs offering up to 180 watts.
