Description
Spider 200 ceiling light by Diego Mardegan
A stunning blend of craftsmanship and artistry, the “Spider 200” ceiling light features a solid brass structure with elegantly extended arms painted in opaque ivory. These arms are anchored to an iron ceiling disk in the same ivory finish, creating a harmonious and balanced composition.
Each of the six arms culminates in a handcrafted shade, meticulously made from parchment layered with never-used vintage cream silk in an ivory tone. The fabric is sewn onto a brass frame using waxed cotton lace, while ivory-colored waxed thread secures each bulb to an ivory-enameled brass frame at varying heights — enhancing the sculptural “spider” effect.
This magnificent work of art is signed by Diego Mardegan and beautifully represents the designer’s exceptional skill, attention to detail, and timeless aesthetic.
This light comes in two variations, a circular shape version ( Spider 180 and Spider 200 ) and an oval shape version (Spider 2020) “Spider special 2020″.
