Description
Michel Mortier M4 Suspension Lamp in Black for Disderot. Originally designed in 1952, this sculptural lamp is a newly produced numbered edition with authentication certificate made in France by Disderot with many of the same small-scale manufacturing techniques and craftsmanship as the original run. Designed is the shape of a hot air balloon, this ceiling light represents part of the lighting revolution in the early 1950s. It is one of the few lamps in the world to offer all three lighting modes in a single source: focused light to bring a sparkle to the dishes on a dining table, upward ceiling light for a soft ambient effect, and discrete light to gently illuminate the faces of guests. Its beautiful proportions, adjustable height and new range of colors enhance its contemporary design. Executed in lacquered metal and aluminum. Height is adjustable. Price is per item. Available in unlimited quantities. Professionally modified for US electrical. CE listed, accommodates one 100 watt max medium base e27 bulb. Comes in manufacturer's box with “Certificate of Authenticity”. In-stock lead-time 7-8 weeks. Out of stock can take up to 12 weeks or more. Stock availability can change at any time.
