Description
Pierre Disderot model #2059 large perforated wall lamp in black and brushed brass. Originally designed in 1955, this clean and refined wall lamp is an authorized re-edition by Disderot made with many of the same small-scale manufacturing techniques and craftsmanship as the original run. Perforated lacquered metal shade and brushed brass, this fluid and refined design is emblematic of Disderot's, 1950s, France. CE listed, accommodates a single 75 watt max medium base e27 bulb. Numbered edition comes new in manufacturer's box with “Certificate of Authenticity”. In the mid-1950s, Pierre Disderot designed an elegant sconce in the spirit of his 1013 table lamp; the tip of a sphere attaches to the wall by a thin clip and projects the light towards the ceiling to create ambient lighting in the room. The soberness and minimalism of this luminaire is resumed in the shape of a Classic luminous bowl, the colored and perforated metal material is typical of the 1950s, yet its proportions and finishing give it a timeless aesthetic. Price is per item. Available in the following color or metal options: Black shade with chrome, dark chrome, polished brass or brushed brass White shade with chrome, dark chrome, polished brass or brushed brass Yellow shade with chrome or dark chrome Red shade with chrome or dark chrome In-stock lead-time 7-8 weeks.
