Inspired by the 1970s and the Space Age, this organic illuminated wall sculpture from Draga and Aurel, called Joy Circle, features a series of concentric dimmable neon rings embedded in combined layers of jewel toned epoxy resin. Complementary hues are layered to create a soft, blended glow effect when lit. Entirely handcrafted in their workshop in Como, Italy, Draga & Aurel have brilliantly synthesized varied references, such as Minimalism, Retro-Futurism, and Op Art to build an all-new collection focused on use of transparent materials as well as a deeper exploration of what transparency can mean in art and design. They have perfected the art of resin, achieving brightly hued, resin furniture, lighting, and accessories. Joy Circle is available in a wide range of vibrant size and colour variations, achieved after many tests in order to find the perfect combination of colours.
