Description
An iconic "Corona" pendant designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup. The fixture is defined by its brushed aluminium cone-shaped form, bisected by a black ring that creates a distinctive light-leak effect. The interior is lacquered in a vibrant magenta, casting a warm, colored glow when illuminated. This example remains in exceptional vintage condition and includes its original manufacturer's packaging.
Jo Hammerborg (1920–1982) was a prolific Danish designer who served as the head of design at Fog & Mørup from 1957 to 1980. During his tenure, influenced by his background in jewelry, he transformed the company into a leader of modern lighting, introducing over 180 designs characterized by architectural precision and innovative use of materials like copper, brass, and aluminium. -
