Elegant pair of Italian Mid-Century Modern style floor lamps attributed to Max Ingrand and Fontana Arte. The standing lamps have an understated, refined form and are composed of beautiful, complimentary materials. The pieces rest on round Italian Carrara Marble bases with gray veining and support solid brass stems and detailing. The oval form shades have an ethereal presence are in satin opaline glass. The color balance between the stone, brass and satin white glass is complimentary while enhancing each other in creating a total composition of sublime form and color.
Max Ingrand was the foremost creator of extraordinary light objects in Italy in the Mid-Century period. These pieces reflect a similar sensibility. Priced as a Pair.
