French Art Deco Nickel and Mahogany Torchiere Floor Lamps by Francis Hubens

$ 28,000
  • Description
    Pair of French Art Deco torchiere floor lamps in stained mahogany with nickel-plated metal mounts and subtle glass details. The tall, tapering shafts rise from stepped circular bases to wide, dish-shaped reflectors that cast an elegant indirect light and beautifully emphasize the contrast between the dark wood and gleaming metal.

    Each lamp is signed Francis Hubens and numbered 3293. Hubens was a Parisian lighting designer active during the early 20th century, known for sophisticated Art Deco forms and high-quality metalwork often combined with glass elements. Made in France, circa 1930s.

    These lamps make a striking statement flanking a console, anchoring a dining room, or framing a doorway, and they mix seamlessly with both classic Art Deco and contemporary interiors.
