French Louis XVI, Pair of Chandeliers or Pendant Lights, Dore Bronze, Crystal, France, 19th Century
An outstanding pair of quality Dore bronze chandeliers from the 1860s, each having four tiers of fine cut crystals supported by a finely cast frame of bronze depicting shells, rose. A superb and highly decorative pair of 1860s doré bronze chandeliers, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and elegance. Each chandelier features four cascading tiers of brilliantly cut crystals, supported by richly detailed, finely cast bronze frames adorned with classical shell motifs, rosettes, and lush baskets of grapes. Versatile in design, the chandeliers may be flush-mounted using their original matching canopies or suspended from a chain for a more dramatic and commanding visual statement. An outstanding and rare pair, ideal for elevating refined interiors with timeless 19th-century French sophistication. The pair can flush mount on their existing matching canopy's or hand on a chain for a more dramatic effort.
