Description
Italian chandelier lamps mod "Concorde", designed by Gaetano Sciolari, composed of fifteen points of light, made in steel and brass.
Gaetano Sciolari was an Italian designer known for his Mid-Century Modern lighting fixtures. Born around the turn of the 20th century, Sciolari, the child of an Italian lighting family that had been producing light fixtures since 1892, began designing for the Italian manufacturer Stilnovo in the 1950s. It was there that he created his most recognizable and celebrated designs, a series of multi-light chandeliers fashioned with both glossy and matte metal, conjuring up futuristic visions of the dawning Space Age. -
