Pair of rare Modernist Italian table or wall lamps by Gastone Colliva, circa 1960s. Minimalist brass tripod base with folded brass reflector and pierced metal diffuser. Designed with a brass ring at the back to be optionally hooked on a wall as a sconce. Cream colored painted metal in a matte finish. In line on / off switch. Each lamp takes one E14 40W maximum light bulb. US candelabra E12 bulb adapters included. Original condition with a beautiful patina on the brass and some light wear to the painted finish. Working condition. Literature: G. Bosoni, F. Picchi, M. Strina, N. Zanardi, Brevetti del design Italiano, 1946-1965.
