German Mid-Century Modern, Five-Light Chandelier or Pendant Light, Brass, Metal, Glass, Germany, 1950s

An interesting five light chandelier likely designed and produced in Germany in the middle of the 20th century. This example features a sculptural brass frame with six gracefully curved arms. Each light is fitted with an elongated opaline glass shade accented by contrasting black and brass details. The central decorative elements and elegant proportions are characteristic of postwar German lighting design.
