Description
Iconic Mid Century Italian Triennale Floor Lamp. Original design 1947 by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce Monza, Italy. This model Triennale Floor Lamp released in late 1960's -1970s by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce (1939 - 1973 in 1974 Arteluce and its catalog was acquired by Flos). Signed Made Italy, to the top of center pole and each shade. The lamp has a marble base with steel shaft, chrome arms, aluminum enameled shades in white with black leather wrapped handles. An on off switch is both on the floor cord and a three way switch on the center pole which allows for on/off with 1, 2, or 3 lights on. Arms and shades adjust in position to direct light as desired upward or downward. In very good condition, white color on shades shows light signs of use no dents, leather wrapped handles have some ware. The chrome surfaces have been lightly polished by hand some oxidation still visible. Overall very good original condition. All switches and sockets working, wired for USA originally sold for USA market in the early 1970's. One of the most iconic pieces of Mid Century Modern design, a true collectable that will maintain its value.
