Description
Founded in 1967 in Denmark, Gubi has always been about bringing well-designed products to the forefront. Grounded in the belief that the past, present and future, hold immense value, the Gubi team travels and studies designs from the past, as well as working with contemporary designers of the future. This approach brings an innovative yet grounded style that appeals worldwide. Gubi is giving new life to Greta Grossman's award-winning Lamp designs of the 40s and 50s.
A part of the Californian design movement, Greta Grossman believed 'modern design was not a super imposed style but an answer to present conditions.'
