Description
Large 1960s Hans-Agne Jakobsson Geometric Bentwood Pendant for AB Ellysett Designed and produced by Jakobsson in Markaryd, Sweden and executed in thin bentwood with custom cloth cord and thick polished brass canopies for US electrical. A uniquely architectural and rare lamp that is so incredibly delicate in their construction that it is almost impossible to find any intact examples anywhere. When switched on, the thin wood casts a distinctly organic filtered light that is both warm and beautiful.
Price is per item. Two lamps available. Wood pendant measures W 13" x H 15"
Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Professionally rewired with 40 inches of black cloth cord (can be adjusted to desired drop) with new period style brass ceiling canopy designed to cover a standard American j-box for hardwiring. Accommodates a single 75w equivalent LED medium base bulb. One lamp retains original manufacturers labels and product box. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, marks, losses and wear noted only for accuracy. Please note only one representative example shown in the listing images. Some variation from lamp to lamp as they are not an exact match but present well as a pair. Additional images upon request. -
