Harvey Guzzini Post-Modern Striped Op-Art Globe Pendant Lamp by Meblo, 1970s
-
Description
A large, striped postmodern Op-Art pendant lamp from the 1970s, designed by Harvey Guzzini for Meblo. The lamp features a very large round globe lampshade (diameter 15"), made of glossy transparent plastic with fine diagonal white stripes. It was challenging to capture in photos, but this stunning lamp creates beautiful optical effects when viewed from different angles. Additionally it projects wonderful effects onto the ceiling and walls. The lampshade is labeled, it is in very good condition with only minor signs of use such as a few fine, small scratches that are hardly noticeable. It has been newly rewired and now features an extra-long (75") cable, which can be easily shortened. This lamp is truly a showstopper and a delight to look at. This versatile lamp is ideal for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms or offices. Its striking design and optical effects make it a stunning focal point, enhancing the ambiance of any space.
