    Rare Pair of Gold Leaf Wrought Iron Chandelier by Henri Pouenat. France: circa 1960 European Private Collection Henri Pouenat born in 1934, he entered the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1953, a student of Gilbert POILLERAT. With his father, he created seats and tables for the first class apartments of the France liner, stair railings and lighting fixtures for palaces in Tehran and Jeddah. He also developed a catalogue, lighting & furniture, and became one of the designers of Maison JANSEN Décoration. In the 60s, he became a creator of lighting & furniture design models.
