Description
A pair of small adjustable wall lamps model EY 67, manufactured by Itsu in Finland in the 1950s. Although smalle in size, this wall lamp has an elegant appearance, and stands out effortlessly in any interior with its perforated shades that also create a lovely effect on the walls. A prime example of Scandinavian design at its best. The lamps are in their original condition and have an absolutely lovely patina. Each lamp is stamped by the manufacturer "Itsu".
Itsu was one of the leading lamp manufacturers in Finland during the middle of the 20th century. Along with companies like Taito Oy, Idman and Orno they defined what Finnish design lamps would become. Itsu made high quality lamps and produced lamps for major projects, including some of Alvar Aalto's projects like the Aalto University. -
