Description
Sculptural and ethereal, the Fiori chandelier by Jacques Jarrige is a luminous gesture suspended in space. This 7-light version is hand-sculpted from a single sheet of aluminum, meticulously cut, twisted, and shaped by the artist without discarding any material. The result is a fluid, blossoming form—at once organic and architectural—that evokes the unfolding of petals or the rhythm of wind-blown leaves.
The aluminum surface is hand-hammered, giving the piece a delicately textured skin that captures and reflects light with subtle brilliance. Each curve and fold of the metal responds to the ambient light, creating ever-shifting highlights and shadows that animate both the chandelier and the space around it.
Seven integrated light sources are nestled within the form, their glow filtered through the open structure to cast intricate, layered shadows across the ceiling and walls. This interplay of light, void, and motion transforms the chandelier into a living presence—poetic, tactile, and quietly radiant.
The Fiori chandelier is emblematic of Jarrige’s practice: intuitive, material-driven, and deeply rooted in the language of sculpture. Lightweight yet visually commanding, the aluminum version brings a luminous delicacy to the design while maintaining its structural strength and expressive power.
Custom sizes, finishes, and configurations are available upon request, allowing Fiori to be adapted to a variety of architectural settings. -
