Created by the Spanish designer Josep Maria Magem, this pair of lamps captivates with its 1970s design. Spectacular in size, these rare pieces combine aesthetics and functionality. The structure harmoniously mixes black lacquered metal and chromed metal, in a very beautiful original condition. Each swivel globe adjusts precisely and lights up independently thanks to a dial integrated into the holding axis of the shade.
Josep Maria Magem, initially trained in the family workshop and then in the applied arts in Barcelona in the 1950s, enriched his career with an apprenticeship in modern decoration with Armand Albiol. Back in Sabadell, his hometown, he introduced a new vision of furniture by founding his own space, Madom Design. This innovative place, both a workshop and a boutique, quickly became a benchmark for high-end design thanks to a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach. Magem is distinguished by a prolific production of lighting during the 1970s.
