Pair of Karl Springer Chrome and Original Purple String Shade Ball Lamps, 1980s

$ 14,000
  • Description
    This stunning and very rare pair of iconic midcentury "Ball" lamps was designed in the 1980s by illustrious American designer Karl Springer. This pair features two hemispheres of polished chrome meeting at their edges to create a seamless orb bisected at its equator. Each comes fitted with equally lustrous chrome light fixturing and small spheres as pulls which reiterate the design of the lamp.

    Very good condition. Minor signs of light use. Chrome light fixtures are clean and bright. Each of the four pulls and sockets work smoothly and as intended. The lamps sit stable and are well built.
