A globe shaped aluminum pendant lamp by Kristian Gullichsen. The lamp hangs from four thin metal wires, connected to brass screws. By adjusting the wires, the direction of the light can be changed. The drop can be adjusted to your requirements, but is circa 130 cm as pictured.
This is a prototype for the lamp that was produced by Valaistustyo in 1966.
Kristian Gullichsen (1932 - 2021) was a Finnish architect who started his career at the office of Alvar Aalto, before starting his own firm. -
