Description
This stunning and graphic Art Deco revival documented "Athena" table lamp was realized by Lorin Marsh, circa 1985. It features a streamlined lustrous nickled support that attaches to a tiered skyscraper style base in gunmetal and nickel. A gold leaf banded rod ascends in the center of this polished nickel rod culminating in a channeled stylized urn form (also in gold leaf). With its classically inspired forms and sophisticated use of mixed metals, this table lamp is as versatile as it are aesthetically striking, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. The lamp accommodates two Edison based bulbs each providing up to 200 watts of light. It comes presented with a custom lamp shade.
