Description
The design of this lamp is incredibly simple. It is an ode to light, a kind of archetypical suspended ball. The lamp features a varnished iron chain, hook, and a metallic grey aluminium light socket in the shape of a spinning top. The globe is in finest blown Murano crystal, which creates an exceptionally white light. The crystal is from Murano.
In 1947 Caccia cofounded Azucena along with the architect Ignazio Gardella. The LS10 Boccia ceiling lamp is a distinctive piece from their collection. c1967 Rewired for USA and can take an LED or Edison bulb. No chips or flaws to the glass. New ceiling canopies to accommodate USA.

Pavilion is the collective vision of Deborah Colman and Neil Kraus, both graduates of the master of fine arts program at the Art Institute of Chicago. From a longstanding interest in art and design, frequent buying trips to France and Italy have influenced the direction of the gallery to offer items that are not easily sourced in Chicago and United States. Postwar design has been the focus for 18 yrs and we also look forward to new design that crosses boundaries and dialogues as well to the past
