This elegant and refined Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized by the legendary atelier, Mazzega, in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for its superlative glass production- circa 1970. It features an abundance of hand blown Murano translucent rectilinear shards- each offering a rich and unique organic texture- realized in a beautiful smoked amber hue. The pieces attach to a circular white enamel base via fine oval link chain in stainless steel. Seen together the pieces create a cohesive image, appearing as a mosaic of smoked amber elements.
