This stunning Mid-Century Modernist Bow Form Polished Brass & Nickel Pendant Chandelier W/Mottled Glass Shades originates from France, Circa 1950. A unique composition rendered with incredible quality metals and technique; this chandelier features a minimal framework with two curved elements facing away from one another suspending six mottled glass shades that face upwards. These shades are attached with rounded nickel fittings which contrasts beautifully with the polished brass elements. The chandelier is suspended by two rods which lead to a polished nickel rectangular canopy with sloped sides, stunningly finished and well balanced in relation to the entire piece. A stunning example of the dynamic use of materials in Mid-Century Modernist design, this chandelier will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this chandelier accommodates six candelabra base bulbs achieving up to 360 watts of light. Height can be adjusted to suit, and in Excellent Vintage Condition.
