Mid-Century Modern Frosted Glass Saucer Form Pendant in with Chrome Fittings

This refined and sophisticated Mid-Century Modern pendant was realized in Czechoslovakia circa 1950. Resembling a stylized flying saucer, the pendant features a white enamel tented shade with a raised lip that bisects the cylindrical frosted glass shade, cantilevering over the lower half. The fixture connects to the ceiling via a circular concave canopy in lustrous polished chrome and a cylindrical rod in the same material.
