Description
'Minimal' Ceramic Pendant Light by David Pompa for KDLN.
Executed in a handmade ceramic body topped with a subtle yet eye-catching polished copper cylindrical accent piece. Inspired by Pompa's artisan culture of his birthplace, this pendant's minimal lines reveal the beauty of Barro Negro pottery crafted with age-old techniques. The special firing process combined with the minor imperfections of manual craftsmanship make this piece a special addition to any space.
David Pompa was born in 1986 in Austria to an Austrian mother and a Mexican father. Growing up, he split his time between the two countries of his parents' birth. In 2008, David earned a Master of Arts and Design at Kingston University in London and founded “studio davidpompa” in Austria. It was later that he started working with “barro negro” in Oaxaca. He was awarded rising talent at Maison & Objet in both Paris and Miami.
Price is per item. Available in unlimited quantities in black ceramic body with choice of copper or blackened nickel accent. Can also be realized as a custom multi-pendant chandelier upon request. Prices and lead times vary. Please inquire for further information.
