Description
This stunning modernist chandelier is a testament to the unparalleled artistry of Murano glassmaking, featuring a sleek barbell-inspired design that seamlessly blends elegance and functionality. Hand-blown in Murano, Italy, circa 2010, the chandelier incorporates opalescent glass globes that emit a soft, ethereal glow, creating a sophisticated ambiance.
The unique barbell form highlights the minimalist aesthetic of contemporary design while paying homage to the centuries-old Venetian glassblowing tradition. The opalescent globes are flawlessly crafted, offering a subtle gradient of light and color that enhances their visual appeal.
Complementing the glass are high-quality brass fittings with a warm finish, lending the piece a sense of understated luxury. The combination of materials—Murano glass and brass—creates an elevated balance of modern design and artisanal craftsmanship, making this chandelier a striking centerpiece for dining rooms, living spaces, or contemporary interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and with height that can be adjusted to suit, this chandelier accommodates Eight Edison Base Bulbs achieving up to 800 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
