Description
A striking pair of Modernist hand-blown Murano golden moon hue glass double sphere sconces with bronze accents, Italy, 21st Century. These exquisite contemporary pieces embody the artful craftsmanship and innovative design for which Murano glassmakers are internationally revered.
Each sconce features two elegantly hand-blown smoked vellum glass spheres, creating a harmonious sculptural silhouette. The ethereal glass spheres are enhanced by warm bronze hardware, which adds a touch of refinement and balances the modern aesthetic with timeless sophistication. The contrast between the misty glass and metallic accents captures modernist ideals while maintaining a sense of understated elegance.
Created in Italy by master glass artisans, these 21st-century sconces seamlessly blend traditional Murano glassblowing techniques with sleek contemporary design. Their versatile yet striking form allows them to complement a variety of interior styles, from modern to transitional. With the shades achieved in layers of blown glass, a stunning natural variation in the hue while illuminated or unlit occurs, creating additional depth of form and appreciation to the fixtures.
In excellent condition, these sconces are not only functional lighting fixtures but also stunning sculptural works that bring a luxurious and artistic atmosphere to any space. Perfect for collectors and design enthusiasts seeking a statement piece for their home or office. Newly rewired to American Standards, these sconces accommodate two G-9 Bulbs each, achieving up to 200 watts of light.
