Description
An extraordinary Modernist chandelier in a distinctive pagoda form, expertly crafted from hand-blown Murano glass, Italy, 21st century. This sculptural and eye-catching piece exemplifies the fusion of traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques with cutting-edge modern design.
The chandelier showcases layers of organic disc-shaped Murano glass elements in a rich, luminous ruby red hue, lending warmth and dramatic flair to its presence. Their cascading arrangement, reminiscent of a pagoda’s tiered structure, creates a sense of balance and movement while playing beautifully with light. The glass’s vibrant ruby color is elevated by the gleaming brass fittings, which add a touch of luxurious refinement and harmonize beautifully with the chandelier’s bold silhouette.
This chandelier is not only a striking centerpiece but also a functional work of art, with its elegant, organic shapes and radiant tones making it ideal for various interiors—from contemporary and modern settings to spaces seeking a rich, artistic focal point.
Newly rewired to American Standards with height that can be adjusted to suit, this chandelier accommodates five candelabra base bulbs achieving up to 300 watts of light. In Excellent Condition, this exceptional chandelier represents a celebration of Murano’s glassmaking heritage and its ability to innovate within modern contexts. A true statement piece for the discerning designer or collector.
