Murano Rectangular Chandelier. 148 "Tiedro" Glass Elements
-
Description
This chandelier is a striking example of mid-20th-century Murano craftsmanship, composed of 148 transparent “Triedro” glass elements. Each glass piece is hand-blown in the traditional Murano method, shaped with a tri-lobed or prism-like profile known as triedro, which refracts and reflects light in a unique, radiant way.
Arranged in tiered, cascading levels, the triedri create a sculptural, architectural form that feels both grand and airy. The clear glass lends a contemporary lightness, while the textured vertical striations in each element subtly diffuse light, producing a shimmering effect.
Suspended from a minimalist chrome or nickel-plated frame, this chandelier evokes the elegance of Italian modernist lighting from the 1960s–70s—perfect for interiors that seek both drama and refinement. -
