Description
Wall light designed by the world-famous architect Le Corbusier for the Unit Habitation in Marseille. Easily adjustable, the arm features two joints that extend and turn from side to side. The shade consists of two opposing aluminium cones that offer direct and indirect light.
Charles-âdouard Jeanneret-Gris otherwise known as Le Corbusier, was a Swiss architect, artist, designer, urban planner and writer, best known for his achievements in modern architecture. His most important architectural works include Villa Savoye in Poissy (1929-1931), Habitation in Marseille (1947-1952), the city of Chandigarh in India (1954) and Notre Dame du Haut in Ronchamp (1955).
Nemo Lighting was founded in Milan in 1993 by Franco Cassina. Their mission is to transform lighting ideas into products that have an undeniable presence and are able to transmit an innovative aesthetic. With that in mind, they created the Master’s Collection; a unique selection of lamps from famous designers of the 20th century including Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Franco Albini and many more.
