Art Deco Streamlined Nickel "Cobra" Table Lamp by Norman Bel Geddes for Faries

This Art Deco Cobra Table lamp originates from the United States Circa 1930 designed by Norman Bel Geddes for Fairies. A handsome example of Art Deco design and material beauty, this piece features a streamlined profile in Polished nickle with a downward facing, rounded saucer shade and tapered neck to a gleaming circular base. Reminiscent of a cobra's form as indicated by the title, the conceptual charm and history of the piece will be appreciated in a wide array of interiors and design settings, excellent as a desk lamp or reading light. In Mint Restored Condition and newly rewired for American Standards.
