Paavo Tynell Wall Lamp Model 9460 in Perforated Brass, Taito 1950s

A beautiful and refined example of the model 9460 wall light by Paavo Tynell, produced by Taito in Finland during the 1950s. Executed entirely in brass, the fixture embodies Tynell’s unmistakable balance of elegance and function. The design is composed of a slender wall bracket supporting two light sources, concealed behind a gently curved perforated brass reflector. The pierced surface softens and diffuses the light while simultaneously casting a warm glow both upwards and downwards along the wall, creating a calm and atmospheric illumination.
