Pair of Green Murano Glass Leaf Wall Sconces, Italy 1990s

Description
Striking pair of Italian wall sconces crafted from green Murano glass and designed in an elegant elongated leaf form.
Each sconce features a sculptural glass leaf in a luminous olive-chartreuse green tone, articulated by a contrasting deep green central rib and finely modeled veins running across the surface. Small brass details secure the glass while adding a subtle warm contrast to the rich green tones.
The textured and translucent quality of the Murano glass beautifully interacts with the light, creating depth and a soft atmospheric glow when illuminated. Their long, slender proportions give the sconces a particularly architectural presence while retaining the organic character of the leaf-inspired design.
A refined example of Italian decorative lighting, combining traditional Murano glass craftsmanship with a bold, nature-inspired silhouette. These sconces work beautifully as a pair flanking a mirror, console, doorway or artwork, and are equally suited to Mid-Century Modern, contemporary and eclectic interiors.
Every item LA Studio offers is checked by our team of 10 craftsmen in our in-house workshop. Special restoration or reupholstery requests can be done. Lighting can be electrified to the required voltage.
