Pair of Italian Opaline Glass and Brass Wall Sconces, 1950s
-
Description
Designed and made in Italy during the 1950s, this pair of wall lights is built around an elongated, rounded‑edge opaline glass shade secured by small brass finials at the top and bottom. The diffusers appear evenly white when unlit and show a mild warm band of light when switched on.
Each sconce contains a single E27 socket rated for 110–240 V, allowing operation on European and United States circuits without modification.
Brass components present a uniform aged patina; the glass shows light surface marks from use.
Wiring is original and functional. Overall condition is good. -
