$ 9,500
  • Description
    Carved, Gilded Wooden Appliques by Pier Luigi Colli, mounted by Seguso Corroso Glass shades. The shades are swirled and have gold inclusions. The corroso process was an acid based finish that corroded the glass giving it an uneven surface which refracted light. The process is no longer used due to it's toxicity.

Message from Seller:

Established in 1999, by antiques dealer Gail Garlick, the gallery focuses on historical works of the 20th Century. Primarily Good Design shows furniture, lighting and decorative arts from Italy, the US and Scandinavia. Meticulous about authenticity, we maintain a substantial research library. Our preference for refined works in original patina have won us an international following of designers, collectors and gallerists.
