Description
Pierre Paulin Wall Lamp 6135GM in white for Disderot. Originally designed by Paulin in 1959, this light creates a precisely focused effect, shielded from the eye. Made from folded metal, the lamp was designed initially for the bedroom, but today is offered in a wide range to create many different options; for example, spaced regularly on a wall, a series of these lights can create contemporary focal points, while if they are positions in column of 5 or 7, they emulate the work of Donald Judd who along with Paulin was interested in an elegant and minimalist style. This newly produced numbered edition with authentication certificate is made in France by Disderot with many of the same small-scale manufacturing techniques and craftsmanship as the original run. Price is per item. Also available in grey and black finishes and with a mini pull switch. Pierre Paulin was a prestigious talent, with extraordinary skills, unbounded creativity and a sense of volume and space, which made him one of the greatest French designers. He created an entire range of metal furniture for Thonet, reinvented the contemporary chair for Artifort, bringing him international recognition, and was commissioned for the prestigious development of the Pompidou couple’s presidential apartments at the E?lyse?e. In-stock lead-time 7-8 weeks. Out of stock can take several weeks more. Availability can change at any time. LED light bulb included (A+ Class), 40W max – E27 – 230V
