Step into a world where art meets function in the most sublime way with this rare monumental 50 light suspension chandelier by Robert Haussmann, Switzerland circa 1970s. With its distinctive molecular design and commanding presence, this chandelier is more than just a light fixture; it's a conversation starter, an art piece, and a testament to the imaginative prowess of renowned designer Robert Haussmann.
Constructed meticulously, this chandelier showcases 50 tubular aluminum arms, delicately intersecting and connecting through sleek black plastic hubs. The resulting structure encapsulates the beauty of geometric precision and reminds one of a magnified molecular model. Every arm, hub, and intersection is a tribute to Haussmann’s visionary design and dedication to precision. Orginally designed in 1969 and manufactured by the esteemed Swiss Lamps International. Despite being a product of its time, the chandelier's design remains timelessly appealing, effortlessly blending with both vintage and modern interiors.
Suspended gracefully from a minimalist circular ceiling canopy by three adjustable cable wires, this chandelier can be tailored in height to complement various ceiling heights and room sizes. A sleek black electrical cord provides power to this intricate constellation of lights, illuminating each of its 50 arms. For a warm and radiant glow, it currently boasts G25 globe bulbs, but the versatility of the E26 light bulb sockets allows for personal customization. Maximum 25 watts.
Measuring an impressive 60 inches in height and 46 inches in diameter, this monumental chandelier is sure to be the focal point of any grand room. The core body itself stands at 27 inches, with the overall measurements provided inclusive of the bulbs.
For those with an eye for unique design and a penchant for unparalleled craftsmanship, the Robert Haussmann suspension chandelier is not just a purchase; it's an investment in a piece of design history. Don't miss the opportunity to own this rare blend of scientific allure and avant-garde artistry. -
