Description
Rare 1950s Robert Mathieu 5-shade multi color chandelier. Executed in multi color original painted metal with star perforations. A bright and sculptural chandelier highly indicative of the iconic mid-century Italian designs of Stilnovo.
Accommodates 5x 75w equivalent medium base bulbs (lower with incandescent).
Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Overall in good condition with some scuffs, dings, nicks, bends, loses and patination as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. -

Rewired: Professionally rewired for US electrical with black cloth cord and 75 watt max candelabra socket (lower with incandescent). Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
