    Sergio Mazza pair of sconces made in Milan 1960 by studio Artemide, brushed nickel frame with auto motive molded glass shades held on by a center metal ring, give a good luminescence. Handsome minimalist, high quality design.

    Sergio Mazza

    Sergio Mazza was born in Milan in 1931; he was an esteemed designer and co-founder of the firm Artemide with partner Ernesto Gismondi in 1960. Mazza began his studies in Architecture before opening his own studio in the late 1950’s. As a designer for Artemide, he would earn the Compasso d’Oro in 1960 for one of their lamps, and was awarded the silver medal at 10th Triennale of Milan.
