Set of 4 Handblown Murano Sconces in Glass and Antiqued Brass with 24-Karat Gold

This beautiful set of four modernist sconces were realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature volumetric rectangular bodies imbued with an abundance of 24-karat gold flecks ascending from a cubic base in sumptuous antiqued brass. The base attaches to a rectangular back plate in the same material that affixes directly to the wall. The translucent glass with a wealth of 24-karat yellow gold is illuminated from below, creating a dramatic radiant effect. With their clean modernist lines and austere silhouette, these sconces are as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. The sconces have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
