Vintage set of three Swedish brass & smoked glass wall sconces designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd, known as the model V-149, circa 1960. Spherical globe diffusers cast an amber glow through the smoky glass, ideally with small tube-shaped bulbs (T6 size). Patinated brass mounts feature a cylindrical base extending from a short stem connecting to the round backplate on the wall. The classic Scandinavian, uncomplicated forms of these sconces blend with a multitude of decorating styles: midcentury modern, transitional, or eclectic. Professionally cleaned and rewired for US electrical using UL-listed parts, ready to install in your interior. Currently wired with inline switches for display.
