Gilded pendant in hand-applied plaster over steel armature, with a knifed finish.
3 Candelabra base bulbs, max 60 watts.
Weight approx. 20 lbs.
Suspended from 3 ropes, includes 5”Dia canopy and three one-foot lengths of rope.

The Sibyl Pendant refers to the Greek and Roman Legend of the Prophetess who insisted on writing her prophecies on leaves in a wind-swept cave. As such, they become a metaphor for the piecing together of meaning in a scattered world.
