Description
1960s Stilnovo Model #2134 Articulating Brass and Metal Wall Lamps
Executed in black painted metal shade with brass articulating arm and black and brass backplate. The shade rotates freely left/right and up/down on a ball joint. A sculptural and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian design at its highest level Each lamp bears "Stilnovo" stamp on bottom of backplate.
Price per item. Two lamps available.
Reference literature: Stilnovo: Apparecchi per L'illuminazione, pub. Luminaires-Modernistes, p. 60.
Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period style backplate modification added for mounting over a standard American j-box. Accommodates 1x 60W max equivalent LED US candelabra (e12) bulb. LED only. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Wear consistent with age and use. Some age-appropriate patina, dings, scuffs and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. One lamp photographed, but both are in similarly good condition and present well as a pair. Please contact us for additional photography or video. -
