Description
Large pair of 1950s Stilnovo brass and opaline glass sconces. Executed in brass with a sculptural three-sided opaline glass diffuser. An incomparably clean and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian lighting at its highest level.
Price is for the pair.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative Italian lighting design companies during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by knowledgeable collectors.

Professionally rewired. Each lamp accommodates a single socket max 75w equivalent LED standard medium base bulb. Custom period-style backplates added for mounting over a standard U.S. j-box. Please note only one representative example appears in the photos. All lamps in comparable condition but show some subtle difference. Minor patina, scrapes, scuffs, and bends as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. More images available upon request. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. -
