Description
1960s Tito Agnoli perforated yellow metal & brass sconce for O-Luce. These iconic sconces are executed in yellow painted perforated metal and brass. Lamps rotate freely on highly adjustable double swivels. An incredibly clean and refined design by one of the Italian lighting icons of the era.
Price is per item. 2 lamps available.
O-Luce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Ref. literature "O-Luce di Giuseppe Ostuni, Vol. II" by Thomas Braeuniger, Lumi Press 2021, related shade model # 1111 A (p. 116).
Accommodates a single 60w equivalent US candelabra bulb (lower with incandescent). Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate. Some scuffs, dings, dents and losses noted only for accuracy. Custom period style backplates added for mounting over a standard American j-box for hardwiring.
