Description
This striking table lamp is a fine example of early Swedish Modern and Organic Modern design. The ovoid form pedestal base was hand-blown in thick glass in a marvelous ultramarine blue tint, given an unusual repeating cove design that when viewed from certain angles seem to form mannered grotesque faces. A fascinating design, possibly by Orrefors, Sweden, 1930s
